CONGRATULATIONS!!!  You are getting married.  Let the planning and countdown begin.  Some of the first things to decide are; where to get married, where to have the reception and where to have your outside photos taken.  You are invited to consder the Saxon Lutheran Memorial for any or all of those decisions.  We are an ideal site with room to set up for a large or small gathering, covered seating area for your meal and a most picturesque backdrop for gorgeous pictures. 

The wedding service and reception is becoming more and more popular at our site, and we are excited to grow into the requests that we are receiving.   We are glad to try and accomodate the bride and groom and their parents for their special ocassion.   If you would like to consider using the SLM site, please call to make an appointment so the date can be reserved and the initial plans can be set into motion.  The curator is happy to assist in whatever way she is able. 

Many happy couples have had their wedding photos taken here for their outside shots.  It is so picturesque and has endless possibilities for backdrops.  It may be a good idea for you or your photographer to visit the site beforehand, so you know ahead of time what areas you would like to use for your photographs - there are so many to choose from.
